My Work

  • I served as the youngest communications director in congressional history. During my tenure, I singlehandedly built and operated a bespoke congressional communications strategy, advised policymakers during crises, and garnered 350,000 unique impressions every month.

  • I am currently leading a groundbreaking comparative research project focusing on local media in Southeastern Australia and the Midwesrtern United States.

  • I was awarded the Truman Scholarship for exemplary leadership, academic excellence, professional achievement, and commitment to public service, selected from a highly competitive national pool of 800 nominees.

  • After Calvin University fired a popular professor for officiating a same-sex relationship, I led a group of 200+ students to stand up for what is right. I organized events, met with leaders, and advocated for policy change at the administrative level. Our movement garnered nationl attention from outlets like the Huffington Post.

  • During my time at Boehringer Ingelheim, the largest family owned life sciences company in the world, I advised company leaders on communications strategy, ESG initiatives, and rebranding efforts.

  • During my time with the Institute for Nonprofit News, I troubleshot quantitative data collection challenges for the 2022 INN Index Report, the world’s largest nonprofit news survey.

    While working with survey stakeholder, I collaborated with 100+ editors nationwide to optimize data about their everyday organizational operations and workforce.

  • During my NOLS semester, I developed management and collaboration skills by leading teams through high-stakes conditions in dynamic environments, achieving mission goals and objectives despite routine setbacks. I also demonstrated troubleshooting skills by adapting to challenges and making decisions in hectic, resource-constrained settings.

  • I developed and executed a comprehensive digital strategy for a targeted battleground congressional race in 2022. My program garnered 1M+ unique weekly impressions and raised over $30,000.

    I also managed campus organizing efforts across 6 college campuses, driving record youth turnout across the district in 2022.

  • As a young person building my ow business, I created digital products for local and federal candidates, building websites, mail campaigns, and promotional materials.

    I have advised 5+ candidates, organizations, and organizers on policy and communications strategy regularly.

I have worked with everyone from candidates for the U.S. House to candidates for the municipal water board to develop compelling digital products and communications strategies. As the youngest person in congressional history to serve as a Communciations Director, I know how to develop compelling stratagies and create leading digital products.

Specializing in the field of media and journalism studies, I have won thousands in research grants and worked to administer the largest nonprofit new survey, the INN Index.
